Bangladesh's local manager for the pink-ball Test at the Eden Gardens, Tapan Chaki, has come under the scanner of BCCI's Anti Corruption Unit (ACU). The ACU has approached Chaki after he used mobile phone inside the visitor's dressing room after being repeatedly informed that it was not allowed.

Instances of fixing and bookie approaches have been increasing with every passing day in today's cricket. After Mohammad Amir, Salman Butt, and Mohammad Asif were banned by the ICC for spot-fixing, the message was sent out loud and clear that such corruption will not be entertained. But the recent episodes of Shakib Al Hasan's failure to report bookie approaches and the likes of CM Gautam getting arrested in the fixing scandal in the Karnataka Premier League have proved that corruption still exists in cricket in a large amount. Bangladesh cricket was only recovering from one of its major blows of missing Shakib that another doubtful incident has taken place.

Bangladesh's local manager for the pink ball Test between India and Bangladesh named Tapan Chaki has been approached by BCCI's ACU. Chaki was caught using a mobile phone in the visitor's dressing room and was repeatedly informed that it was not allowed to do so. Chaki has broken the protocol and the BCCI probe will take place soon.

According to IANS, it was confirmed from a BCCI official that the hearing for Chaki's case will be arranged soon.

"The protocol is that the ACU officer on duty will report the matter and Chaki will be called for a hearing. If evidence is found against him, then the rest follows," the official said.
