Pakistan showed some fight in the second game as they managed to garner 10 pints against India's 21. While the last match took 9 minutes, this took three minutes as India got a whitewash over Pakistan.

Nataraj broke the national record in the qualifiers with a time of 56.71 seconds and even though he faltered in the semis he still managed to finish with a time of 56.65.
