Full time - NorthEast are back in business

That is it, the referee blows the whistle and NorthEast have managed to grab a crucial, crucial win - their first in the last seven games. They are now just one point off a spot in the top four, and this could prove to be a turning point in their season so far.

    Good save by Subrata again!

Oberman picks out Pitu at the edge of the NorthEast box and the his powerful left-footed shot is straight at Subrata. The goalkeeper makes sure that he does not spill the ball, and this is perhaps the second save he has made in this game.

Sissoko wins a corner for Pune but Pitu fails to do any better than Lucca was doing in the first half. His delivery is easily cleared at the near post.

Pune are trying to push more bodies forward into the box at the moment with Izumi playing like a second striker almost. However, their crossing is letting them down. Subrata is grabbing up every ball without any worries.

    NorthEastR. CullenN.L. Velez

Romaric has been named as the hero of the match. He has been fantastic in the second half for NorthEast.

    Pune D. TraoreA.Z. Rodriguez

Anibal is off. He has had some good moments in this game, but it was almost like he did not receive any support from the midfielders. He was often fighting a lone battle upfront.

The crowd have found their voice once again. This win will take NorthEast to 14 points, just one point behind Pune with a match in hand!

    GOAL!!!!!!!!!!! ROMARIC WITH A STUNNER!!!!!!!!

NorthEast earns a free kick from a very good position at the edge of the Pune box. Romaric took a long run up before curling one past the wall and into the top corner of the net with his powerful left foot. The ball was already past Edel before he could get his hand in range to stop it.

What a time to score your first goal for the team, and what a way to get it!

    What a save by Subrata!

Big moment in the game! Oberman's cross into the box from the left wing finds Izumi, who out-muscles Alves and tees up Anibal by chesting down the ball. The striker puts his foot through the ball from a close range but somehow Subrata is able to get his hand up in time to keep it out.

    Another chance for NorthEast

Velez drives down the right before cutting back the ball into the box. Lenny gets back into the box to clear the danger, but is only able to flick the ball up in the air. Romaric climbs above his marker to head the aerial ball towards the goal, but the lack of power in the header makes it easy for the goalkeeper to catch.

    Pune PituJ. Lucca

Lucca is off. It was a disappointing night for the midfielder. Perhaps one of his worst performances so far. He failed to have any sort of impact on the game. Those corners will haunt him tonight in his sleep.

What a let down! Alfaro releases Velez down the right wing with an orgasmic pass behind the defence, but the striker fails to deliver a cross into the box, and the chance is wasted.
