India slips to No.2 in ICC Test rankings
India slipped from the top to the second position in the latest ICC Test rankings, released on Wednesday, after Australia registered a impressive seven-wicket victory over New Zealand at Christchurch to win the series 2-0. With 112 points, Australia now have a two-point lead over India (110).
India had risen to the top of the rankings after a gap of five years back in January, with the then leading team South Africa losing the home series 2-1 to England. But their reign at the top only lasted a month with Australia registering a convincing 0-2 win away against New Zealand.
Australia last topped the rankings back in July 2014 and are all set to win the annual cash prize of $ 1 million,

In the ICC T20 rankings, India is in the No.1 position heading into the Asia Cup T20 match against Bangladesh at Dhaka today. In the ODI rankings, the Men in Blue are in the third position in the rankings, with Australia and New Zealand above them.
