India’s estranged fast bowler S Sreesanth last played an international game way back in 2011 but has always made the news for reasons beyond cricket. This time though his name has resurfaced for the game he claims to be extremely passionate about and his sessions at the nets are worth giving a look.

Suspended from cricket for long, Sreesanth is now returning to practice and has been looking in-form at the nets in Kerala. He was seen bowling to seasoned Kerala middle-order batsman Sachin Baby at indoor nets in which the bowler was seen cleaning Baby’s defence before castling him.

A clean delivery with abundant pace went on to spike back into the batsman and made its way between the bat and pads hence not just uprooting the bails but also the stumps.

The 36-year old cricketer, who last played an IPL game in 2013, will be eligible to play competitive cricket in India from September 2020 and is gearing up for the same. He hasn’t even given up his dream of playing Test cricket for India again. In his short-lived Test career, Sreesanth had bagged 87 wickets at 37.59 average and a strike rate of 62.2. Looking at his current form, who knows, his desires might materialise soon.
