The human mind loves to jump from one idea to another but it's important to be composed while participating in a live sporting event. The idea of switching to fancy attempts caused Georgia Adams her wicket during a crucial juncture of the Women’s Hundred clash against Welsh Fire on Monday.

Eyeing their first in the tournament, Southern Brave lost the toss and were sent to bat first by Welsh Fire captain Tammy Beaumont. Losing Smriti Mandhana and Danielle Wyatt inside the powerplay, Maia Bouchier and Georgia Adams tried to soak pressure and build the innings before the opposition spinners wreak havoc during the middle overs phase. Although Adams looked solid during her 18-ball stay, the middle-order batter was left in despair, owing to her fancy stroke attempt.

Conceding just three runs in as many balls of the ninth set, Jonassen came around the wicket and floated an offie at the fourth stump line. Premeditating for a lap shot, Adams shuffled way too much across the line and ended up with an inside edge back to the stumps. The batter was too much inside the line that she failed to negate the slight drift, leading to her downfall at a crucial juncture of the game.

Seeing Adams’ wicket leading the Brave to a tricky phase in the context of the game, the Twitterverse abuzzed.

That was terrible!
