London Spirits beat Manchester Originals by eight wickets in London. The visitors struggled to bat first as Charlie Dean's three-fer restricted them to 112/7 whereas Georgia Redmayne's half-ton led London Spirits to victory, handing Manchester Originals their third consecutive loss.

‌After being sent into bat by London Spirit's skipper Heather Knight, the Manchester Originals struggled early on. Opener Laura Wolvaardt fell cheaply on the 15th delivery, followed by Beth Mooney's departure soon after. With the scoreboard reading 32/2 after 30 deliveries, all eyes turned to Eve Jones and Emma Lamb to stabilize the innings. However, Jones couldn't deliver and was dismissed on the 32nd delivery. Despite this setback, Lamb and Kathryn Bryce put together a crucial 44-run partnership, pushing the score to 75/3 after 70 deliveries. Just as the duo seemed to be gaining momentum, Sarah Glenn struck again, removing Bryce on the 72nd delivery, bringing skipper Sophie Ecclestone to the crease. Unfortunately for the Originals, Ecclestone departed cheaply leaving them reeling at 89/5 after 85 deliveries. With the dismissals of Lamb and Fritha Morris in the death overs, the Originals could only manage a total of 112/7 from their allotted 100 deliveries.

In response, the hosts faced a similar setback losing Meg Lanning on the 14th delivery. Shortly after, Cordelia Griffith also departed on the 26th, thanks to a brilliant delivery from Alice Monaghan. Despite the early blow, Knight and Georgia Redmayne kept the scoreboard moving reaching 29/2 in six sets. The pair forged a vital 30-run partnership with London Spirits at 55/2 in the 11th set. The Aussie-English duo gradually steered their side towards victory with a 55-run stand bringing the score to 80/2 in 70 deliveries. With 33 runs needed off 30 deliveries, Redmayne shone reaching her half-century in 51 balls. The Australian batter continued her charge, reducing the target to 9 runs off 15 deliveries. Ultimately, the London Spirits secured the win by eight wickets and climbed to third place on the points table.
