Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Reveals Which Format He Dreams of Playing Most.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has created history in the Indian Premier League. Even though his team got knocked out of the tournament in Qualifier 2, he was able to win a number of titles, including the Orange Cap. Sooryavanshi attended the final game between RCB and GT, where he watched the game alongside the ICC Chairman, Jay Shah.

After the match came to an end, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi spent a lot of time just collecting the awards which he had received. Super striker, most sixes, orange cap, emerging player, and a lot more. Once he was done collecting all the awards, he was also asked a number of questions.

One of the questions was about the format which he wants to play the most. Despite the success he has in the T20 format, he wishes to play a different format. Vaibhav said, “I want to play Test cricket for India. My father always say it’s the ultimate format.”

Our Take

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi in India's Test team would be a lot hilarious to watch. The bowlers would be thinking that the match would continue like a normal test. But if Vaibhav finds his rhythm, the Indian team would be able to score runs with their run rate showing the game as an ODI or T20I format. Since the Indian team is going through a transition phase, it remains challenging for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi to make his debut, as the opening spot is already being held by Yashasvi Jaiswal, his RR teammate.
