Are Things Not Fine Between MS Dhoni and CSK?
MS Dhoni has not played even a single game for Chennai Super Kings in this season. Amidst this, reports claim that Dhoni is having a rift with the CSK management lately. He has been reportedly ignored by the management this entire season.
Things may not be fine between Chennai Super Kings management and MS Dhoni. As we all have seen, before the tournament started, Dhoni was ruled out for two weeks. He suffered with an injury during the practice sessions and didn't manage to return in action even after being fit to play for the team.
And the reason behind the same could be a possible rift between MS Dhoni and the CSK management. A report claims that the long standing journey of MS Dhoni and CSK could have an emotional split as soon as the IPL 2026 season comes to an end. Even though he travelled with the team for the majority of its games, he never made it to the playing XI in this season.
The reports claim that the tensions between CSK management and Dhoni have been high over the last two years. The management wanted to shift from the veteran to the younger generations, and even made the trade deal involving Ravindra Jadeja and Sanju Samson. It was also stated that Dhoni was connected with the squad due to his professionalism, and could bid a farewell soon.

The rift between CSK management and MS Dhoni is just being reported, and it should be noted that none of this is confirmed. Dhoni had a good bond with Ravindra Jadeja, and ever since he got transferred to Rajasthan Royals, we didn't see Dhoni play even a single game in the Yellow jersey. Even though he has completed his recovery, it remains to be seen what CSK management or Dhoni would have to say on such reports.
