World No.1 and defending champion Novak Djokovic is on the brink of getting knocked out from the 2016 Wimbledon after American Sam Querrey took a two-set lead against him on Friday. The top seed was saved by the rain yesterday after it forced play to be suspended at the roofless court No.1.

The match between the two will continue on Saturday with the Serbian trailing 6-7 (6-8), 1-6 against Sam Querrey. Djokovic will be all too familiar about coming from two sets down to win the match at the Wimbledon after doing it against South African Kevin Anderson in last year’s fourth round. But, that match was postponed due to darkness when both players had won two sets each. The World No.1 won the deciding fifth set on the next day to march towards the title.

However, he will have a tougher job on his hands against the American Sam Querrey on Saturday. Sam Querrey, seeded 28th, looked all too comfortable against the defending champion in the roofless court No.1 and snatched the first set in a tiebreaker before winning the second set easily. Querrey had hit nine aces and won 83% of his first serve points against the World No.1 to set up a likely upset at the Wimbledon.
