Another day at the Commonwealth Games 2022, and a major focus will be on athletics again, as a few Indian will be in the fray today as well. The biggest hope for India from the track will be Avinash Sable, who will be seen in action in the men's 3000m steeplechase and 5000m final.

That is the end of the competition as Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem gets a gold with a throw of 90.18m. The Indians finish in fifth and sixth.

UPDATE - Team of Dutee Chand, Hima Das, Srabani Nanda and Jyothi Yarraji through to the final of 4×100 women’s relay after finishing second in their heat behind Jamaica.

UPDATE - SABLE HAS WON THE SILVER IN THE 3000M STEEPLE CHASE. WHAT A PERFORMANCE!!! He finishes with a time of 8:11.20 (PB) behind Abraham Kibiwot who had a time of 8:11.15. Sable was literally a split second from winning the Gold. But he, and the rest of India, will be pleased with a brilliant Silver medal.
