19-year old Ankush Dahiya bagged a gold medal in the 60kg category at the Ulaanbaatar Cup in Mongolia today while Commonwealth Games silver medal winner Devendro Singh finished the tournament with a silver in the 52kg category. India also bagged three bronze medals in the tournament.

Ankush Dahiya, a former Asian Youth silver medalist defeated  Korean Man Choe Chol in a split decision in the 60kg category final at the Ulaanbaatar Cup today. Putting his height and reach advantage to great use, the 19-year old landed some lusty blows on the Korean to clinch the gold medal.

On the other hand, Devendro Singh, a Commonwealth and Asian Games silver medalist, had to settle for a silver in the 52kg category after the final match was adjudged 3-2 in favour of Indonesia's Aldoms Suguro. Devendro started the match on the offensive and did not let his guard down till the end to connect some fine body blows on Suguro. However, disappointment shadowed the Indian camp when the judges, in a split decision, named the Indonesian as the winner.

K Shyam Kumar (49kg), Mohammed Hussamuddin (56kg) and Priyanka Chaudhary (60kg) lost their respective semi-final bouts on Saturday to finish their campaign with a bronze each.
