Vijender Singh USA boxing debut postponed after he suffers eye injury in training
Vijender Singh will have to wait for his pro boxing debut on United States circuit after he injured his eyes during a sparring session while training in Los Angeles. The 33-year-old Olympic boxer was scheduled to make his US debut at the Staples Center on April 12 against an undecided opponent.
Indian Olympic boxer Vijender Singh will have to wait for some more time to make his professional debut in the USA. The bout is scheduled for April 12 and was postponed after he injured himself in the eye during a sparring session in Los Angeles.
The 33-year-old was set to make his US debut at the Staples Center on the Vasiliy Lomachenko-Anthony Crolla undercard. The match was going to be an eight-round contest and his opponent was yet to be decided.
