On football field I’m Cristiano Ronaldo in my head, says Virat Kohli
Just ahead of the Celebrity Classico match against Bollywood celebrities, All Hearts FC skipper Virat Kohli has stated that he completely seeps into football while playing a match and thinks himself as Cristiano Ronaldo. He also added that Manish Pandey is the best footballer in the team.
Kohli will be leading the All Heart FC against the Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor-led
Ahead of today's match, in a video generated by the Star Sports Football on their official Twitter account, Kohli seemed excited for the match and even stated that he is Ronaldo in his head while playing the game.
Kohli also revealed that Manish Pandey is the best footballer in the team while MS Dhoni is a good right-winger thanks to his quick running.
"Mohammad Shami was pretty good at goalkeeping when we played football with the team last time. But I am not sure who is going to take up the gloves this time around. Manish (Pandey) is the best footballer in the team. He is playing in the midfield position," the Indian skipper said.
"I feel that the best part of my game is sprinting and passing the ball accurately to the guys who score goals. MS (Dhoni) I think would be right winger because of his pretty quick as well or maybe he can be centre-forward as well. His positioning is very good and he reads passes very well. Manish (Pandey) is the best footballer in the team. He is playing in the midfield position," he concluded.
He said that his FIFA rating would have been 98 had he played the game professionally.
"Someone asked me what would be FIFA rating, I said 98. Not below that at all. I am good at shooting, my right foot is good, my left foot is good. As a footballer, I think I am a complete player. In my head I am Ronaldo," he continued.
