We have all been witness to Chris Lynn's brilliance as a fielder as he has taken many stunning catches across several T20 leagues. However, this time the star batsman of the Winnipeg Hawks was at the receiving end of a brilliant piece of fielding by Toronto National's Kieron Pollard.

Lynn was in tune while chasing a huge target of 239 set by the Toronto Nationals in the Eliminator game on Thursday. However, Kieron Pollard's stunner near the boundary line put an end to what could've been a carnage of an innings by Lynn.

Pollard's sensational catch made headlines during the climax of the Global T20 Canada which was a high scoring game between the Hawks and Nationals. After the Hawks lost a couple of early wickets, Lynn(21 off 13) showed promise in the long chase. However, the star batsman's innings was cut short by a sensational catch by Toronto's Pollard.

Pollard hadn't done much with the bat in Toronto's total of 238/5 but his catch of Lynn put the Hawks in a tricky position as they lost their third wicket at 49. In the last delivery of the fourth over, Lynn went forward and smacked the ball straight in the long-on region. Pollard, who was fielding near the boundary, dived to his left and bagged the stunning catch in question.

After bad light stopped play in the 18th over, the result was decided by the DLS method. The Winnipeg Hawks went on to win the high-scoring thriller by 2 runs to see themselves in the Qualifier 2.
