Banter and exchanges are a staple of cricket, but sometimes they cross the line into unnecessary tension. This was evident during the second ODI between West Indies and Bangladesh at St Kitts, where Tanzim Hasan Sakib's frustration with Brandon King escalated into a fiery confrontation.

‌Bangladesh had a shaky start with the bat after losing the toss, as Soumya Sarkar was dismissed in the fourth over. However, Tanzid Hasan's 46 off 33 led the top order, and Mahmudullah's steady 62 off 92 bolstered the middle order. thanks to Jayden Seales' impressive four-wicket haul, Bangladesh were bundled out for 227 runs. In response, West Indies made a strong start, with openers Brandon King and Evin Lewis cruising to 23/0 in six overs. However, a moment of tension arose involving King and Tanzim Hasan Sakib.

After conceding just four runs, Sakib was preparing to bowl the final delivery of the over to King. The right-arm pacer delivered a length ball on the stumps, which King defended with the full face of his bat. As the ball reached Sakib’s hands, he swiftly threw it back toward the stumps while King tried to slide his back leg to avoid contact. Sakib appealed to the umpire, but it was clear that King was well within his crease and had not obstructed play. After a brief discussion, the umpires ruled in favour of King, allowing play to continue. Unhappy with Sakib's actions, King exchanged words with him, and Sakib, not backing down, retorted with a stare and a few words of his own.

Oh Sakib !!
