Pankaj Advani has won his second match in the round-robin event by a score of 4-1 against Myanmar's Pauk Sa at the 17th Asian Billiards Championship to extend his winning streak. In the women's Asian snooker championship, Vidya Pillai won her second match in identical fashion, 2-1, to the first.

Multiple-time world champion Advani, who ended up winning last year’s Asian Billiards Championship, won his second round robin match 4-1 against Myanmar's Pauk Sa at the 17th Asian Billiards Championship and extended his winning run.

After scoring a 102 break in the first frame, Advani's local opponent drew parity with the help of an 84 break. The 32-year Indian had to dig deep in this game as he was kept under pressure by his unseeded rival and he had to battle hard to close out the match with breaks of 98 and 80.

On the other hand, in the women's Asian snooker championship, Vidya Pillai won her second match in identical fashion to the first with a 2-1 scoreline versus Iran's Akram Mohammadi. Varshaa Sanjeev won her first match of the tournament 2-0 against Riny Astuty Nasution of Indonesia while Amee Kamani also won her matchup against Iran's Parisa Darvishvand 2-0.

In the under-21 category, Shoaib Khan beat Ching Chiu Poon of Hong Kong 4-2 in the snooker league match.
