As the January transfer window approaches, Arsenal are already shaping plans for summer 2026, with sporting director Andrea Berta identifying key areas to strengthen. Despite spending over £250 million in the previous summer, the Gunners are expected to keep January activity limited and instead prepare for major moves later. One of Arsenal’s top targets is Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.
The 20-year-old Turkish international is emerging as a major Serie A star, but his contract situation at Juventus is described as delicate. Yildiz is seeking a significant new deal, while Juve are reluctant to meet his wage demands. This has placed Arsenal and Chelsea on alert, with Arsenal making direct contact with his agent Jorge Mendes. Juventus are believed to value Yildiz at around €90 million, having already rejected a €70 million bid from Chelsea last summer Arsenal's interest also extends to AC Milan goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani.
The young keeper impressed Arsenal scouts after saving 3 penalties in a pre-season friendly in July. With limited first-team opportunities at Milan and a previous €10 million bid rejected, Arsenal may need to increase their offer. Liverpool and Tottenham are also monitoring Yildiz, while Arsenal remains confident that Mikel Arteta’s project could attract the player to the Emirates.
