Barcelona Target Tresoldi to Replace Robert Lewandowski
Barcelona are considering Nicolò Tresoldi as an alternative centre forward after Robert Lewandowski’s departure. Julian Alvarez remains the club’s priority, while Lautaro Martinez is also on their radar.
Tresoldi scored 21 goals in 42 appearances for Club Brugge last season and has already netted twice in 2 games this campaign. The 21 year old has also scored 12 goals in 24 Germany U21 appearances. According to reports from Spain, Tresoldi could become a more serious target if Barcelona fail to reach an agreement for Alvarez. The 21 year old striker enjoyed an impressive 2025 26 campaign with Club Brugge, scoring 21 goals in 42 appearances in the Belgian Pro League. He has also started the 2026 27 season strongly, scoring 2 goals in his opening 2 appearances.
Tresoldi made an impact in the Champions League last season by scoring against both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. Roma were previously interested in signing him, with reports suggesting a potential fee of €30 million to €35 million. Born in Italy to an Italian father and Argentine mother, Tresoldi moved to Germany as a teenager and spent 7 years with Hannover 96. He has represented Germany at youth level, scoring 12 goals in 24 appearances for the Under 21 side.
