Another dramatic night in #LetsFootball

FC Goa and Pune City FC played out an enthralling 2-2 draw in a match that saw constant shifts in momentum till the end! Pune rescued a point for themselves, courtesy a 94 minute goal from marquee player Adrian Mutu. This was the 7 goal scored post 90 minutes in 34 ISL matches this season. Close games! It was also 36 year-old Mutu’s first goal of the tournament after 8 appearances.

Goa continue to lead the league with 15 points, while Pune have moved above Delhi into 2 place with 14 points. In other news, Mumbai assistant coach Oscar Bruzon has left the club after a fall-out with manager Nicolas Anelka. Apparently, the two nearly came to blows! Boys, I say!

As the ISL caravan moves into its 2 half, we have put an interesting feature chronicling its journey so far in 16 tweets. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Shooting

India jumped to the top of overall medal standings ahead of China at 13th Asian Shooting Championship underway at Kuwait City. Thanks to IOC's ban on the Kuwait Olympic Association, the event, however, will have no Olympic quotas.

Cricket

Former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer became the first cricketer to complete 10,000 runs in Ranji Trophy. Jaffer, aged 37, last played for India in 2007 and has amassed close to 18,000 runs across Tests and First-Class cricket!

Rohit Sharma, released from the test team, scored 113 for Mumbai against UP at the Wankhede. A move in the right drection by the BCCI- giving them proper match practice and restoring respect for the Ranji Trophy.

Golf

Chirag Kumar won the Panasonic Open India in Delhi- his maiden title on the Asian tour. Chirag had earlier won a silver medal for India at the Asian Games 2006.
