Aditi Ashok, India's 24-year-old golfer, did not make any birdies in the second round of the recent 2022 LPGA LOTTE Championship, but she held her cool in the windy conditions to finish one-over 73. Aditi, who opened with a 5-under 67, is now 4-under and tied for seventh place at the table.

Hyo Joo Kim of Korea made five birdies in the second round, including a roughly 20-foot chip-in from off the green at No. 6, and is the only player without a bogey through 36 holes. She's now at 10-under par and leads the field, with Australian Sarah Kemp (69) in second place.

Aditi, who began on the tenth, parred the whole backstretch and then added five more pars, appearing to be on her way to an 18-par day when she bogeyed the Par-5 fifth in her 14th hole. After which she put up 4 more pars to put up 73.

In 2022, the Indian had two Top-15 finishes in her first two tournaments, the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio and the LPGA Drive On. She also made the cut at the Chevron Championship, a major tournament. Kemp shot a bogey-free 69 in the second round, and her third hole-out of the week came at No. 14, where she chipped in from just short of the green. On the first day, she bogeyed holes 6 and 10.

At six-under, Ariya Jutanugarn and Haeji Kang are tied for third. At five under, Koreans A Lim Kim and Na Rin An are tied for fifth place. Hannah Green, the first-round leader, shot a 4-over 76 in the second round and is in T-17 at two-under-par.
