SRFI introduces sanctions for players and officials

Accordingly it has been decided that henceforth no players, officials and referees will take part in events in India and abroad which do not have the Federation's sanction. Also those who wish to participate/ attend tournaments/ conduct coaching clinics need to ensure that they have prior sanction for the same. The regulations would also ensure that participants from abroad have prior approval from their concerned national body. 

These regulations are applicable to all championships, refereeing and coaching clinics conducted by State Associations, NGOs, companies, clubs, colleges, clubs or by individuals. While these regulations exist in other sports Federations in the country, SRFI is only falling in line with the prevailing convention instead of the hitherto practice of issuing notices on official events at varying times. The SRFI deems this step essential for stricter adherence to Government guidelines considering it receives regular funding under various provisions.
