SRFI introduces sanctions for players and officials
The Squash Rackets Federation of India and it's executive committee have issued fresh sanctions for players and officials in order to avoid the occurrence of any unauthorized fixtures. The regulations will be applicable to all championships, refereeing and coaching clinics conducted by state bodies.

These regulations are applicable to all championships, refereeing and coaching clinics conducted by State Associations, NGOs, companies, clubs, colleges, clubs or by individuals. While these regulations exist in other sports Federations in the country, SRFI is only falling in line with the prevailing convention instead of the hitherto practice of issuing notices on official events at varying times. The SRFI deems this step essential for stricter adherence to Government guidelines considering it receives regular funding under various provisions.
The SRFI now recommends that like players who have to have an I–SPIN (Indian - Squash Personal Identification Number) registration mandatory to take part in tournaments, officials of State Associations, coaches and Referees will also need to have I–SPIN registration done to help the Federation streamline and regulate their activities.
