A fan attending Rogers Cup named Matt Morin on Twitter asked the Australian player Nick Kyrgios to practice with him for just 5 minutes on the court and to everyone’s surprise, Kyrgios, too, agreed to play. The 22-year-old is undergoing a slump in form and also facing criticisms on his performance.

Nick Kyrgios has been suffering a slump in form and faced a severe backlash from the fans highly criticised for retiring from a match for the third consecutive time last week in Washington DC. The Australian youngster, though, decided to play the Rogers Cup this week, where he was approached by a fan to practice with him for five minutes.

The fan took to Twitter to express his desire.

Unexpectedly, in just an hour, he got a reply from Kyrgios saying that he would willingly practice with him and actually kept his promise.

Furthermore, Kyrgios also invited other tennis fans to come and have a hit with him in Montreal as he later tweeted, “Also anyone at Rogers cup throughout the week can come on my practice court and chill and hit if u want.”

Kyrgios stayed true to his word and played the young Canadian for two friendly hit-outs ahead of his second-round clash with Italy's Paolo Lorenzi. Morin seemed blown away by his encounter with the world number 24. ATP Tennis TV Tweeted a video of Kyrgios playing with his fan on Tuesday and wrote, "I tweeted you - I didn't know what would happen!" @NickKyrgios is a man of his word, hitting with the fan who contacted him on Twitter.”
