Sakshi Malik books final berth at Asian Wrestling Championship
Sakshi Malik along with Vinesh Phogat and Divya Kakran, today, entered the finals of their respective weight categories at the ongoing Asian Wrestling Championship in Delhi. All the three grapplers won their respective matches convincingly and assured India a return of at least 3 silver medals.
The first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal, Sakshi Malik, continued to shine for India on the international platform when she entered the finals of the women's 60kg category at the Asian Wrestling Championship.
Sakshi defeated Kazak grappler Ayaulym Kassymova without breaking a sweat with a score of 15-3 to cruise into the finals of the tournament. Earlier in the tournament, Sakshi defeated
