Asian Wrestling Championships | Bajrang Punia Wins Gold In 65 Kg Category
Bajrang Punia has won the Gold medal in the Men's 65 kg Freestyle category at the Asian Wrestling Championships 2017 by beating Korea's Lee Seung Chul 6-2. After conceding the lead in the first round, Punia staged a remarkable comeback to dominate the second round to win the Gold.

It turned out to be a mixed day for the Indian contingent as the Women’s team had to be satisfied with Silver and Bronze medals. However, with six medals overall- four silver and two bronze, it was Indian Women’s best ever performance at the Asian Championships.
