Sindhu hopes to replicate coach Gopichand’s all-England success
Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu is hoping to replicate Pullela Gopichand’s all-England success as a tribute to her coach, and also described the Hyderabadi as a big source of inspiration.
In 2001, Gopichand became only the second Indian to win the coveted all-England crown after Prakash Padukone.“I have developed the technique of learning while training with Gopi sir. He has been a great source of inspiration. As a mark of respect, I would like to win the all-England title like him,” the world No 11 told Hindustan Times.
