Indian badminton player B Sai Praneeth has reached the 11th spot on the recently-released BWF World Rankings as he jumped one place up on the list. On the other hand, star Indian female shuttler PV Sindhu continued at the sixth place on the rankings which were released on Tuesday.

B Sai Praneeth has seen an improvement in his BWF Rankings on the latest list as he gained points to go one place up to the 11th spot. Praneeth had won the bronze medal in the World Championships in August and since then, has been in a good form.

He was at the 12th place earlier in the previous BWF ranking list and has now improved on that as well. Praneeth had managed to get the better of Lin Dan in the Denmark Open before going down to the current world no. 1 Kento Momota in the pre-quarterfinals.

In the women’s world rankings, PV Sindhu continued to be at the sixth place in the world while Saina Nehwal went down one place and is at the ninth position on the recently-declared BWF list. Tai Tzu Ying from Chinese Taipei is leading the women’s chart.

Among other Indian men, Kidambi Srikanth has dropped one place and is placed at the 10th now. Similarly, Sameer Verma also slipped one place and is now 18th in the world.
