Big Concern for CSK as MS Dhoni Heads Back to Ranchi
A major concern has hit Chennai Super Kings right before the playoffs. It was expected that Dhoni will be playing for them in the final league stage game against Gujarat Titans. But he has returned back to Ranchi, as he suffered with a thumb injury.
The Yellow Army will surely have to wait for more games to ensure that they are able to see MS Dhoni play for Chennai Super Kings. In the last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, fans expected to see him play but his name was again missing out on the squad. Ruturaj Gaikwad said that he could be present for the team in the match against Gujarat.
But a few days back, reports emerged that Dhoni didn't travel with the team to Ahmedabad. This even made the fans concerned, as they may not be able to see him perform in the final league stage game. Now it has been reported that Captain Cool has decided to get back to Ranchi, as he suffered with a thumb injury.
It is certain that he won't be available to play for the team in the match against Gujarat Titans. But it has also been reported that he could be back for them to play, if CSK manages to make it to the playoffs. For that to happen, even a win against Gujarat Titans may not be enough for Chennai Super Kings.

It is true that the CSK fans are now concerned about the availability of MS Dhoni. The team will be going through a virtual knockout game tonight against Gujarat Titans, but fans won't be able to see Dhoni this season. If by some miracle the team manages to make it to the Qualifier stages, it would be important for them to have MS Dhoni in the line-up.
