Olympics Gold is my dream, reveals Mary Kom
Indian boxer Mary Kom has stated that even after bagging a bronze from the Olympics 2012 she still harbours a dream to win the Gold medal at the event. With the Summer Olympics scheduled to take place next year in Tokyo, it could be Kom’s final chance to win the gold before she retires.
Mary Kom won the gold at the recently held AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in the light flyweight category. This was her seventh medal at the championships of which six are gold. The 36 years old thus also became the most successful boxer in the tournament's history and with the summer Olympics less than a year away Mary Kom, at an event, expressed a desire to win the coveted gold medal at the event.

Mother of two kids, the boxer also revealed that she is very disciplined about her training and never lets a chance slip away to train hard.
"I have been very sincere during my training. If I have 2-3 sessions, I will make it a point to not miss them, I attend as many as possible. If I don't train, I won't succeed," she said.
The Tokyo Olympics are scheduled from July 24 to August 9
"I will speak to my coach, the BFI, the SAI (Sports Authority of India). We have already got some good facilities and hope to get better results this time," Mary Kom said.
