Sam Harper was keeping wickets for Victoria Bushrangers against South Australia in a Sheffield Shield match when he was hit on the head by batsman Jake Lehmann's bat while it was in follow-through. Harper was immediately taken to hospital where he was cleared of any internal bleeding or bone damage.

Although Harper was wearing a helmet, the blow left him in severe shock and he was taken to a nearby hospital for a check-up. CT scan cleared him of any kind of bleeding or bone damage.
