Brad Hogg bats for Kuldeep Yadav's inclusion in India's Champions Trophy Squad
On Sunday, Brad Hogg encouraged the inclusion of Kuldeep Yadav into the Indian Champions Trophy squad. According to Hogg, the chinaman bowler's subtle variations could make him a tricky customer for the opposition and improve India's chances of a successful title defence.
Kuldeep made an astounding Test debut for India earlier this year, when he scalped 4 wickets in the last Test match of the series against Australia. He said, "He is a different bowler for sure. There aren’t too many chinaman bowlers in world cricket at the moment. Kuldeep has great variety and strength of any spinner is his variations. You may know all the tricks
Hogg couldn't stop himself from giving some bowling advice, which he segregated based on the formats of the game.

Hogg also praised Samuel Badree for his quick sliders that cramp the batsmen for room and prevented them from coming down the match.
Hogg seemed greatly impressed with the IPL captains' ability to use leg-spinners. “Leg-spinners can be operational in Powerplays and some have been used in the middle period when the ball gets scuffed. It’s about utilising at right times. All captains have used leg-spinners wisely. That’s the biggest factor. When exactly are you using them,” Hogg said.
When asked about which sides should feature in the playoff, Hogg showed his cheeky side and mentioned RCB, Kings XI Punjab, Delhi Daredevils and Gujarat Lions as the sides which shouldn't.
