Although Indian umpires are not exactly among the best in the business, their standard appears to have reached a new low in IPL-10 with Rohit Sharma, once again at the receiving end as a thick inside edge went unnoticed and the Mumbai Indians skipper was given out lbw against RPS in qualifier 1.

It was the sixth over of MI's chase against RPS at the Wankhede Stadium yesterday. Off-spinner Washington Sundar got one to drift into Rohit's pads as the batsman attempted to sweep. The umpire gave Rohit out although TV replays later showed an inside edge.

It was not the first time this season that Rohit has suffered owing to a wrong decision. Previously, he was fined 50% of his match fee for showing dissent at a decision during his side's three-run defeat to the same opponents in the league stage.

Another incident caught the eye during this match. On the first ball of the 17th over from Mitchell McClenaghan, MS Dhoni attempted a hook but missed the ball completely. McClenaghan and Parthiv Patel thought otherwise and appealed for caught-behind which was denied by umpire S Ravi, who responded by calling it a wide.

Did you know, Dhoni is the 1st player to score 1000 runs in T20Is without even scoring a career half-century. For more fun stats and predictions play the newest fantasy-cum-predictions game in the market – Nostragamus. Download the game by tapping here.
