Rajasthan High Court approved Rajasthan Cricket Association’s return after the RCA accepted Board of Control for Cricket in India’s conditions for removing the ban from themselves by voting. On Saturday, the decision will be taken on whether the IPL matches will be hosted in Jaipur or not.

In what was good news for the RCA, Rajasthan HC completed the official formality for their return. On January 18, RCA members had voted in favour of accepting the Indian cricket Board’s conditions for removing the ban. The BCCI wanted the RCA members to give undertakings in which they would ensure that Lalit Modi could not join the state body in the future. The result of the voting declared by the HC on January 24 where all the 31 votes went in the favour of accepting the conditions. During the time of voting, the secretaries of Alwar and Dungarpur DCA’s were not present.

"The HC has asked the RCA president and secretary to give their undertakings, as demanded by the BCCI, at the earliest. These undertakings will be sent today itself," former RCA vice-president Vivek Vyas told TOI.

After the member agreed on giving the undertakings, the single bench of MN Bhandari also told the Indian cricket board to start working on it and to revoke the ban.

"The lawyers of both the sides met after the order and decided to facilitate the process swiftly. It is now just a matter of time before the ban is officially revoked," Vyas said.

Rajasthan High Court also directed the BCCI to discuss with the state government about the situation for hosting IPL matches in Jaipur.

"Technically the ban on the RCA is yet to be revoked, so the court told the BCCI to ask the state government if all the requirements for hosting IPL matches will be made," Vyas informed.

BCCI acting president CK Khanna also revealed that during the auction for the upcoming IPL season on Saturday in Bengaluru, a meeting between BCCI office bearers (including CEO), IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla, representatives of RCA (president or secretary) and Rajasthan Royals representatives is scheduled to be held.
