Reports : MCA distributed 80 IPL passes to judges from CoA
According to reports, the Mumbai Cricket Association's Committee of Directors had reportedly distributed 80 complimentary IPL passes to judges for the match at Wankhede Stadium. Retired judges Hemant Gokhale and VM Khade were among them who were given the passes by MCA’s Committee of Administrators.

As the senior administrator and former BCCI official Ratnakar Shetty and former MCA managing committee member Ravi Mandrekar requested, MCA website portrayed the distribution of passes by the CoA members. Around 60 passes were given to 30 high court judges and 10 passes each
“In a managing committee decision around 15 years back, we'd stopped the practice of giving passes to the judges, as it doesn't send the right signal to the public. However, the CoA has started this again. They've also provided two passes of the president's box to their consultant, whereas we never give the same to our employees," said a managing committee member.
“The question is, is it morally correct for the administrators to distribute passes, which are normally allotted to the clubs, to members of their own fraternity? How can they justify this," shared an MCA
The CoA members gave two passes each to the former presidents of MCA, namely Manohar Joshi, Sharad Pawar, Ravi Savant and Ashish Shelar of which Pawar and Shelar had returned the passes.
