Kolkata Knight Riders is now getting ready for its upcoming match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The team started the campaign with a loss, but they have now returned to the Eden Gardens to hunt for their first win. And amidst the seriousness at the practice sessions, it was also necessary for them to have some hilarious moments.
So, the KKR admin came up with an idea to lighten up the mood of all the players. A toy was bought in the practice sessions, where a fake spider pops out whenever someone slides it open. The one who was carrying out this prank took the toy towards players and coaching staff members, and told them to slide it open.

The first was Rinku Singh, and his reaction was priceless. The video also featured coaching staff members such as Shane Watson, Tim Southee, and even their Head Coach, Abhishek Nayar. Out of all, Rovman Powell and Dwayne Bravo seemed to be the smartest, as they didn't even open the box.

Although the team didn't start the IPL 2026 well, their upcoming match against Sunrisers Hyderabad could help them to get back on track. Moreover, they have returned to their home ground, which comes as a massive boost for the team.
Backed with experience in the coaching staff, Kolkata Knight Riders will be aiming for its 4th IPL title. While they won the title back in 2024, the team had shown terrible performances in the last edition.
