The Indian Premier League is always incomplete without banter, whether it takes on or off the field. And the social media banter between two teams started with yesterday's match between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Delhi Capitals. This match also involved a player who previously played for Lucknow, KL Rahul.

Lucknow Super Giants were bundled out for a low total in this game, as the team managed to put just 141 runs on the board. But later on when Delhi's innings started, KL Rahul was dismissed for a golden duck against Mohammed Shami. Following Rahul's wicket, LSG took it to Twitter and posted a blank page with the caption IYKYK.

The match seemed out of hand for Delhi Capitals as the team stood at the score of 26/4. But Sameer Rizvi and Tristan Stubbs pulled it off in style, helping Delhi Capitals to win by 6 wickets. After this win, Delhi Capitals posted the same blank page but it was filled by their recent wins over Lucknow Super Giants.

Our Take

Even though this match didn't have any of the Big Three of the IPL, it still attracted a lot of attention from the fans. Previously, when KL Rahul arrived at Ekana Cricket Stadium, Delhi Capitals posted a reel about the same, informing the fans about his arrival. Under the comments section, fans also spotted Shubham Gaur, who is a content creator at LSG.

He commented by saying that this is also KL Rahul's ground, appreciating his presence at the stadium. Despite the banter between the teams, the players and even the support staff have shown mutual respect for each other.
