The hype for IPL 2026 is now building, as the fans can't wait for the match between MI and RCB. Royal Challengers Bengaluru tweeted by saying, “Tum Namak nhi Chandan ho Varma! Tum Tilak Bharat ke mathe ka.” In this tweet, Mumbai Indians finally replied when the IPL schedule got released. Their retweet said, “Humaara Tilak hai toh chandan ka! April 12 Wankhede pe.”
This tweet by Mumbai Indians has triggered fans to react to the match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians, a month before the game. With RCB entering the tournament as the defending champions, they will be going against the five time IPL champions in this much-awaited game.

DJ Request
In the previous match between MI and RCB at Wankhede Stadium, the cheers for RCB were so loud that the DJ also went unheard. This was a great taunt by the RCB fans to MI on their tweet.
RCB to Repeat 2025 Heroics
RCB and MI faced each other once in IPL 2025, and RCB came out victorious in that game by a close margin. Towards the last two balls in the game, the screens showed Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma together. Virat Kohli was happy with his team closing to win, while Rohit and Hardik had angry expressions.
Number 3 Debate
One RCB fan tweeted by saying that their team is coming to end the better number three debate. For MI, it will be Tilak Varma, and for RCB, it will be Devdutt Padikkal to see which one of them shines in an important match.
