The viewership records for the IPL 2026 season have now been revealed. Star Sports released a poster of the most watched teams, showing the average views per match of a single team. Chennai Super Kings topped the charts with 308 million, followed by RCB having 303 million.

The Indian Premier League reportedly had an impact on its overall viewership in this season. But the teams have been able to receive the most benefit, even if the viewership had a slight decline. Recently, Star Sports have released a poster which shows the most watched IPL teams in this season.

It talks about the average views which a team gets during an IPL match. And surprisingly, it is Chennai Super Kings who have topped the charts, having a massive total of 308 million views per match. Royal Challengers Bengaluru stood at the second spot in this list, just behind Chennai Super Kings, having 303 million views per match.

Mumbai Indians stood at the third spot, having a whopping total of 293 million views per match. It is clear that the big three names of the Indian Premier League have managed to dominate the tournament with the viewership once again.

Here's how Twitter has reacted to the viewership records in this season for the top teams.

Biggest What If?

MS Dhoni has not played even a single game for Chennai Super Kings this season. What would have happened if he played a few games for the team this time?

Wild Card Entry

In this list, Sunrisers Hyderabad is also there at the fourth spot. So, RCB is there due to Kohli, MI is there due to Rohit and Bumrah, CSK is there due to Dhoni. But SRH is there for its destruction.

Major Concern

Rajasthan and Punjab have been able to do well in the tournament over the last few seasons. Still, they have not been able to fetch the viewership like the other teams.
