RCB Receive Positive News on Captain Rajat Patidar
Royal Challengers Bengaluru played its previous match without Rajat Patidar. With Jitesh Sharma leading the side, the team managed to reach the Qualifier stages. And now right before the match against SRH, Patidar has joined the team and arrived in Hyderabad.

The defending champions are back in the hunt for their second consecutive title. In its previous match, the team went down without its skipper against Punjab Kings. Rajat Patidar was revealed unfit for the game and Jitesh Sharma stepped out to lead the RCB team in his place. At that time, he was also questioned why Patidar is not playing.
Jitesh Sharma replied by saying that Rajat Patidar was not fully fit for the game. So in his place, he had to step down and lead the team. It was unclear to the fans what type of injury he has suffered, but Jitesh cleared things by saying that he would be back for the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad. RCB went on to win the match against PBKS and reached the playoffs.
Just a day after their match against PBKS, RCB has now reached Hyderabad for their last league stage game against SRH. And bringing a positive news for the fans, Rajat Patidar has now joined the team as he was also spotted by the fans in Hyderabad.
Our Take
With Rajat Patidar at the helm, Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been able to do what they didn't do previously in the IPL. Last year they were able to win the title, and now they have become the first team to reach the Qualifier stages being at the top of the table. His availability will be beneficial to RCB, as he has led them from the front across all the games.
