Mohun Bagan scored two extra-time goals through VP Suhair to get the better of Real Kashmir after the teams were 1-1 at the extra time, as the Kolkata giants reached their 29th final in the Durand Cup. Bagan will be playing Gokhulam Kerala FC in the summit clash hoping to lift their 17th title.

After East Bengal were ousted in the first semi-final of the day, Bagan fans had a lot to complain about with their manager fielding a relatively weaker side, with many of the star players missing. However, they were pacified a bit when Perez scored a brilliant goal to give Bagan the lead at the 42nd minute.

But, just when Bagan looked to be full control of the game and were looking to see it off with just a one-goal lead, Real Kashmir got a lifeline as Gnohere Krizo scored in the 93rd minute. With Kerala causing a massive upset earlier in the day, Kashmir also hoped to pull off a miracle and the goal gave them a chance.

However, with Kashmir missing their chances to push forward in the extra time, Bagan decided to add more power up top and eventually got their second goal in the third minute of the extra time through Suhair. The outcome looked pretty much decided by then but Suhair went ahead to score a third in the 112th minute and put the final nail in the coffin.
