Manchester United star Diogo Dalot has undergone treatment for a hip injury in China, with the Portuguese star yet to feature for the club this season. The 20-year-old arrived last summer as one of Jose Mourinho’s last signings but struggled to break into the team under the former Red Devils’ boss.

Manchester United star Diogo Dalot has been in China to visit a miracle Brazilian doctor, to help him recover from a hip injury faster reports the BBC. The 20-year-old has yet to play this season for the Red Devils, with the hip injury even sidelining him during pre-season. However, the BBC reports that Shanghai’s sports injury expert Eduardo Santos.

Santos, who has been dubbed the miracle-working physiotherapist by David Luiz, has also worked on Radamel Falcao, Mousa Dembele and even Eliaquim Mangala over the last few years. However, the Mirror adds that the Brazilian has already done his work on the 20-year-old. The Portuguese full-back reportedly arrived in China on 29 August for ten days of treatment, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealing that Dalot will be available after the international break.

This will be a big boost to the club, but the arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka does prove problematic for the former Porto star. The 20-year-old made 23 appearances in the first team last season, and was even described as the best young full-back by former manager Jose Mourinho. But reports do add that Solskjaer believes that Dalot can play in a more advanced attacking position upfront and could potentially make an impact there for the Red Devils.
