Fans were a lot excited when the news came of Kylian Mbappé being transferred to Real Madrid in the form of a free transfer in the current summers. However, things have not gone as expected for the player, as he had to step back from the dream move due to some reasons.
Kylian Mbappé talked about the same in an interview, saying that he wanted to stay in Paris Saint-Germain. His main reason to stay in the team would have been his brother Ethan Mbappé. He further continued by saying that it was his brother's dream to play for Paris Saint-Germain, due to which Mbappé was able to sacrifice his dreams.
He said,âIt happened, and itâs what impacted me the most. For him, PSG was his Real Madrid, and in a way, I took that away from him. He told me he didnât want to stay, that what they were doing to me wasnât right. I said to him, âIf you want to stay, Iâll renew my contract, and weâll stay together for a while.ââHowever, this claim from MbappĂ© has been called out by an insider of the Paris Saint-Germain team, who said,âHe claims he would have given up his dream of joining Real Madrid just so his brother Ethan could stay at PSG. Do they really expect us to believe that? No wayâthat was never going to happen.â
