As the Brazilian national team prepares for its first steps toward the 2026 World Cup, head coach Carlo Ancelotti was seen enjoying the famous Rio de Janeiro Carnival, drawing attention for a relaxed and cheerful public appearance. Sitting in the front row at the Sambadrome, Ancelotti watched the samba school parade when he noticed two Brazilian legends, Ronaldo Nazário and Denilson de Oliveira.
The former stars greeted him warmly, and Ancelotti responded with a smile while raising his drink, creating a moment that quickly went viral. Days earlier in Bahia, Ancelotti was placed in an unusual spotlight when popular singer Leo Santana paused his performance to ask the coach to include Neymar in the squad for the FIFA World Cup, which will take place in the United States, Mexico, and Canada during June and July.
Neymar has not played for Brazil national team since October 2023 and has also not been selected by Ancelotti since his appointment last year. The episode highlighted the strong emotional connection between fans, players, and the coach as Brazil looks ahead to its World Cup journey.
