Real Madrid stars Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Jr ended the Champions League season with individual milestones despite missing out on the title. Mbappé scored 15 goals in 11 matches to finish as the tournament’s top scorer, edging Harry Kane (14).

Vinicius registered eight assists in 14 games, finishing joint top alongside Michael Olise.

For the second straight season, Real Madrid saw two of their biggest stars dominate the UEFA Champions League individual charts despite missing out on the trophy. Kylian Mbappé ended the 2025/26 campaign as the competition’s top scorer, netting an impressive 15 goals in just 11 appearances.

The French forward finished narrowly ahead of Harry Kane, who scored 14 goals, while Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia followed in third with 10 strikes. Since PSG reached the final, Kvaratskhelia would have needed an extraordinary six goals in the title clash to surpass Mbappé, making the Frenchman’s Golden Boot almost untouchable.

Meanwhile, Vinicius Jr proved equally influential in creativity, ending the tournament as one of the leading assist providers. The Brazilian registered eight assists in 14 Champions League matches, finishing level with Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise at the top of the standings.

PSG duo Achraf Hakimi and Kvaratskhelia were tied for third with six assists each. Despite topping the scoring and assist charts, both Mbappé and Vinicius would likely trade these personal achievements for European glory, with their focus now expected to shift toward helping Real Madrid reclaim Champions League success next season.
