FC Barcelona star Raphinha is expected to hold transfer talks with Al Hilal after the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The Saudi club is reportedly ready to offer the Brazilian winger €170 million ($197.5 million) for a 2-year contract, far above his current €16.68 million annual salary at Barcelona.

In the midst of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, FC Barcelona star Raphinha has reportedly attracted massive interest from Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal and Al Nassr. According to reports from Mundo Deportivo and Globoesporte, both clubs are willing to significantly increase the Brazilian winger’s earnings, with Al Hilal leading the race for his signature. Raphinha currently earns around €16.68 million ($19.4 million) per season at Barcelona under a contract that runs until June 30, 2028.

However, Al Hilal is reportedly prepared to offer the 29 year old an extraordinary €170 million ($197.5 million) over a two year deal, a package that would make him one of the highest paid footballers in the world. Despite being aware of the proposal, Raphinha has asked Saudi officials to postpone discussions until after the World Cup. The winger is currently focused on helping Brazil improve following their 1-1 draw against Morocco in Group C and does not want transfer speculation to affect the national team's campaign.

While some Brazilian supporters have questioned his international performances, Raphinha remains a fan favourite at Barcelona. Since working under Hansi Flick, he has helped the club win 2 consecutive La Liga titles and 5 of the last 6 domestic trophies. Barcelona’s recent €70 million signing of Anthony Gordon could increase competition for places, potentially influencing Raphinha’s future decision once the World Cup concludes.
