The Indian Olympic Association has revealed it's plans of submitting an Expression of Interest to host the 2030 Asian Games and the 2032 Olympics. Apart from it, the IOA also mentioned their plans of submitting the EOI for the 2026 Youth Olympic Games and conducting the 2021 IOC Congress.

IOA has announced that they have registered 2370 members including the athletes and officials for the 18th Asian Games. It has further planned a 900 member contingent for the Asian Games as well. The IOA is en route to engineer the future course of action in order to capture the best of opportunities and develop as a nation holding significant international events.

"We have made some purposeful decisions in the meeting. From EOI for hosting global events to announcing new committees and commissions, it's all formally plotted in our future roadmap," IOA president Narinder Batra said.

The IOA has closely monitored the Gold coast Commonwealth Games that happened a few months back and at the end of it made announcements regarding the formation of new committee and federations.

"The long list for the 18th Asian Games has also been submitted to the organizers of the event. We shall shortlist the final contingent at the final selections by various federations," Batra added.

"The additional committees and New commissions have been set up to help us achieve our ambitions as a rising sports nation. It's imperative for the IOA to make sure there are action points to every review and a thorough process is followed for every global event," added the secretary general of IOA, Rajeev Mehta.
