Aditi Ashok claims her second successive top-10 finish at the LPGA Texas Classic
Indian Golfer Aditi Ashok has managed to claim her second successive top-10 finish at the LPGA Texas Classic as she ended the tournament tied-sixth after she tied-seventh at LPGA Mediheal previously. The event was shortened to just 36 holes due to bad weather on Thursday and Friday.
Aditi Ashok has managed to step up her game on the golfing circuit ever since she took part in the Summer Olympics in 2016. Aditi won the 2016 Hero Women's Indian Open with a score of 3-under-par 213, and in doing so she became the first Indian to win a Ladies European Tour title.
Still only 20, Aditi has built herself a name on the golf course as she managed to claim her second successive top-10 finish at the recently concluded LPGA Texas Classic in America.
Aditi played her second and final round in 5-under 66 to finish at 7-under 135 and ended the tournament tied-sixth to secure her second consecutive top-10 finish.

Aditi started the first round with a score of 69 and then played 14 more holes of her second round on Saturday itself for a total of 32 holes. The next day she played four holes with one birdie and on Par-5 15th and three pars to finish the round in 66.
In other news, South Korean golfer Park Sung-Hyun continued with her impressive season as she managed to emerge victorious at the LPGA Texas Classic with a final score of 11-under-par 131 for her third LPGA win.
