Indian golfer Aditi Ashok has missed the cut at the Women’s PGA Championship and has slipped to the 131st position in the world rankings. Another Indian Anirban Lahiri has been knocked out of the Travelers Championships as he had a poor run in the second round after a disastrous first nine.

Saturday was not a great one for the Indian golfers as both Aditi Ashok and Anirban Lahiri failed to make the cut in their respective events. Aditi shot six-over 78 in the second round of the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and failed to make the cut. With a 77 on day 1, she had only one birdie against 12 bogeys at the Hazeltine course in a couple of days.

This was the eighth missed cut for the Indian in 13 starts so far and has resulted in her falling to the 131st spot in world rankings with this poor show.

Anirban Lahiri, in another tournament, failed to cruise into the third round. He had to bow out of the Travelers Championships after a terrible show in the second round of the event. Lahiri had 72 in the first round and went six-over 41 for the first nine on the back nine of the TPC River Highlands but failed to go beyond the second round.
