India's Aditi Ashok stayed in the hunt for a top-10 finish at the Estrella Damm Mediterranean Ladies Open, despite three bogeys in the last six holes at the end of the third round. Aditi shot a par 71, staying one-under and moving up a place to tied-seventh with one more round to go in Spain.

With two birdies and no bogeys, Aditi looked set to climb higher on the leaderboard after a flawless display on the first 12 shots. However, she bogeyed the 13th, 15th, and 18th and could only make up with one birdie on the 16th to finish with a 71.

Among the other two Indians at the Open, Tvesa Malik shot a second-straight one-ver 72 but marginally improved her position to tied-28th, while Diksha Dagar shot 73 to be placed tied-43rd. Tvesa was steady throughout with one birdie and two bogeys to head into the final round four-over, while Diksha had two each of birdies and bogeys, before adding a double bogey for the third time in three rounds.

Meanwhile, Germany's Laura Fuenfstueck (67) managed to stay atop the leaderboard although local favourite Carlota Ciganda (65) is two shots back heading into the final round. Starting the round with a three-stroke advantage, she birdied the second, fifth, and seventh holes to build a five-stroke lead. But a bogey on the 11th saw her drop to eight-under, and finish at 67 eventually. Ciganda stayed right behind with four birdies and an eagle in her first 12 holes, finishing on 65.
