Sharath Kamal has expressed his dissatisfaction at women's team's scheduling at having to play three matches on a single day. The Indian women's table tennis team has overwhelmed Qatar and Iran by a margin of 3-0 and 3-2 but was defeated by Chinese Taipei by a margin of 0-3.

Indian table tennis squad was highly unsatisfied with the placing of matches as the Indian women's table tennis team has been scheduled to play three matches on the opening day. They have slammed the Asian Games scheduling stating that placing three matches in a day was completely absurd.

Despite Indian women's team beating Qatar 3-0, they were overpowered by Chinese Taipei as they lost to them 0-3. Now, they have to play against Iran in the evening on the very same day in which they beat them and entered the quarter-finals, the tiredness was visible.

“They have really messed it up with the scheduling here. Two matches in a day are still fine but three is a bit too much. I have not seen such scheduling in the earlier games,” Sharath told PTI.

Indian men's table tennis team has already defeated UAE 3-0 and will face Chinese Taipei in order to determine the winner of the group. If they lose, the following day, they would have to encounter Vietnam to determine the quarter-finalists.

“If we lose to Taipei, we will have to play Vietnam at 4pm tomorrow to decide the second and third position. If we win, then we play the quarterfinals at 8 pm. It is absurd,” he added.
